What a Splash-tacular Day!

This summer, our Helping Hands for Single Moms Dallas families traded homework and to-do lists for water slides and wave pools at NRH20 Family Water Park—and it was unforgettable!

From the moment we walked through the gates, laughter filled the air. Moms and kids floated down the lazy river, raced each other on the slides, and shared snow cones under the sun. For many, it was the first time in years they could simply relax, connect, and make memories without the daily pressures of school, work, and household responsibilities.

South University notes that spending quality family time strengthens emotional bonds and makes children feel truly valued—and we saw that come to life in every smile, every splash, and every hug shared that day.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, admission and meals were completely covered, giving our moms a rare chance to focus on joy, not expenses. These moments are more than just fun days out—they are part of the wraparound support that helps our moms push forward toward graduation while nurturing their families.
